Project Lights {X'mas 2007}

Christmas time is getting near...my hubby, Jeff, has been so busy with his Christmas lights around the house right after Thanksgiving. Not only adorning the house with lights, he's now adding the bright decor to the tree too (photo: see tree at the far left). One time, the squirrel chewed on the tree lights so he got to arranged a whole new set of lights again (I thought squirrel is supposed to be cute {like my squirrel doll *lol*} and not naughty!) Last night, he took some great shots of the house with all the blinking lights with all the merry Christmasy colors. He is so proud of his annual "Project Lights"...our house has become a delightful entertainment for everyone who pass by our house these days....

Gifts Define at the Geffen Family Event

Each year, the world renowned theater, The Geffen Playhouse, creates a very special holiday theater experience for the upscale families who are annual supporters of the theater. This year, we are super excited that our little handmade wonders would be part of the chic gift bags (arranged by "It's In The Bag") that will be distributed to the Geffen Playhouse Family Holiday Event on December 15th, 2007. This event take place in Westwood California -- attended by the families of celebrities, industry executives and the elites from the Los Angeles area.

Photos from the holiday show at the Fine Art Museum in St. Pete on Nov. 25th. I love how the new display turned out -- I designed them and asked my talented hubby Jeff to build it for me. I always want to have my booth to represent a cute little hut; where I can hang my dolls across the booth -- as well as cascading displays to show off variety of dolls I make. I'd also like to be able to organize each group of dolls in a little wooden basket. Displaying products effectively and beautifully for the art show has always been a huge challenge for me -- we have to be able to make our product and display interesting and as eye-catching as possible for the guests....but I am happy with what I got this time for my dolls... :)

Back to work!

Well, hello again! We just got back in town from our overseas vacation last Sunday night and I can't believe that the "Jetlag" is still here with me. After a 36-hour flight back home from Indonesia -- surely this body of mine is still winding down, fall asleep during the day, fatigue and awake around 3 a.m. lately that makes me a little bit koo-koo :) I haven't gotten a chance to pull out great pictures I took during our stay in Indonesia. Since I got back in town, I've been busy filling out orders I received during my time-off. Until now, I am still catching up to complete these order ... so for anyone of you who made the orders, thank you very much and please kindly bare with me, I'm working on all your order NOW and will ship them soon to your home. On top of this madness at the studio, we're also preparing our holiday show "Crafting Out Loud" at the Museum of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg on November 25th. So I am trying to be on top of my game now....work work work!
