Well, honestly we haven't even thinking of moving things out, we have to decide on how to fill our new space layout with the right cabinets and drawers for sewing materials/fabrics, computer desk/office chairs, sewing tables, tools/sewing machine corner. These are just some of the to do lists we have to figure out before putting the rest of the material/inventory in place. Are we excited??? totally!! are we overwhelmed?? very!!
We will take one thing at a time, since early this year, we finally managed to get the space cleaned, installed new carpet, new blinds on the window, plugs...at least we tackle the first bit :) and see how un-messy it is... this view will be so rare once we are fully stationed there, we'll tear the place down; tons of fabrics piles on the table and on the floor, scatterred spools, tools, papers and boxes (yea that's our common "crime scenes"). We organize our work inventory/materials in classes of bins. So as our business grows, we realized the more bins we have. To avoid having those bins stacked on the floor or working tables, we will build our own bins cabinets and tables (yeap..no IKEA cabinets dare we say - -perhaps we'll get some IKEA fabrics we'll use as interior decor). We prefer custom-made objects that will 100% carries our needs and since no stores have what we want, why don't we build it ourselves.
For our remembrance, we post pictures of the [empty] new space; how bright & uncluttered it is still [compared to our current space, see... many bins everywhere]. We're thrilled with our future space -- this much bigger space will definitelly boast more creativity, productivity and make us smiles more...ameen!! ha ha ...ok back to work...we need les moneys to support this big plan! ^^
