OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Certification

I've been contacting our wool-felt suppliers to obtain confirmation that the woolen material we use for our dolls and toys are OEKO-Tex Standard 100 Certified. We are so glad and proud to announce that all of our wool-felt suppliers are 'Certified'! (top pic: their OEKO-Tex Standard 100 certification label).

For those who haven't heard about this OEKO term, OEKO-Tex is an ecological certification process that tests for over 100 harmful substances such as lead, formaldehyde, mercury, carcinogenic dyestuffs, pesticides, formaldehyde, softeners, heavy metals or pentachlorophenol (phew! my tounge is twisted). The OEKO-Tex Standard was introduced at the beginning of the 1990s as a response to the needs of consumers and the general public for textiles which posed no risk to health.

Being ecologically conncious, it is essential for us at Gifts Define to know that the material we use for all of our creative products; are not only premium in quality but also completley safe for our customers and most importantly the children! We hope that this extra expense makes you feel more confident and worry-free about your purchase! For more information visit OEKO-Tex Standard 100 main website.
