We finally completed the project we hold dearly, a custom deco mobile with a pair of cute pugs and kitties; fishy and bone to keep them entertained! Tomorrow they'll be ready to fly to their new owners...we kinda created a bond with these cute little critters and hard to say goodbye... but we're sure they'll be much happier in their new home....love you guys! :)

Creating Days in 2011:

Starting a new week has never been better than creating lovely handmade goodness...really..the best thing to do in early Monday morning should be something that makes you feel easy, cheery and smiley, and these little Love Birds with Love Letters do just that...

We've been sketching, recreating a look for a custom mobile of kitties and pugs to resemble our client's critters. For the centerpice we're thinking the bone and fish for the critters to play with :) New custom project requires patience, try and error if one sketch will work or completely is a blunder, that's the beauty of custom work, take longer time, longer thinking process but twice the fun :) wish us luck, hopefully this will make her happy...

Creating Days in 2011: it's Sunday and it's a gorgeous sunny day in Florida, so it's a great day for us to visit our creative garage and check on the production of our wooden sticks to build our handcrafted deco*mobile frames. With all of those pricey saw blades, drill tools and heavy machines we invested to create the best outcome of our work, we'...re eager to see how our production staff works & delivers their magic.... and it's just so awesome to see their productivity/creativity! so far they've made us 1,200 sticks -- all cut, drilled and ready to be assembled into a beautiful mobile frame. Well, great things take great measures...tons of creativity, patience and passion too...we're glad at Gifts Define, we have all that!!

New week, new creativity, new design we added to our handmade goodness collection! As we mentioned on day 91, we are creating a new design of Tooth Guardian Angel for the boys, and we deliver! Comes in 3 dress/pants colors teal, mint and aqua with 3 different cool boys' haircut styles :) which we luv...each angel comes with a tooth lost 'certificate of record'! Now the boys can enjoy the company of their own Tooth Guardian Angels as the girls do too, hooray!!!

one of the most exciting creations we completed today, a Safari theme wall-art Name Bannerama....a group of friendly peers for Pierce! His nursery theme is "Safari Fun"...featuring adorable feline firends, cute elephant and giraffe...oh we also did a matching deco mobile and a Tree Story to go with his banner (we'll post that awesome-ness in a later posting), we're just so happy to share this 'work-well-done moment' we have today...we're so loving it!!!!

Creating Days in 2011: we're crafting bunnies favors for a birthday party this month (in the spirit of Easter) -- well some people asked the difference between the size of party favors pets and full size pocket pets...well this is the comparison. The party favors pattern is custom made in a way so it could be easily transformed into cake toppers etc as the size is smaller (around 3" by 2") Ok we better go back, our bunnies are calling! :)

the longest process in the making of our deco mobile..believe it or not, the colors arrangement for all those custom-made mobile to complement client's bedding, room decor, etc...especially comparing the interior thru the computer monitor, could be so tricky often times...though this is the fun part of the whole production, it just take the longest before we can go ahead and sew them together...well, great creation takes great measure ;) have a good one everybody!

we have a special request of integrating 5 sheep with 3 clouds on our "Counting Sheep" deco mobile -- our client love the idea of odd number of characters for her decor pieces. Perhaps relates to feng-shui etc. but we do our best to make her wish comes true! After quite a struggle to incorporate those adorable sheep and clouds together and complicated way to balance them all to create a harmony, voila...our little kingdom of sheep and clouds is ready to grace the happy nursery! Boy -- we had fun with this creative project! :)

what a day!! so busy not noticing how the time flies...morning to night in a snap...well, this is our late posting, and one of the most exciting projects we did today is to create a custom party topper for an 'ice cream' theme birthday party! yea yea...with sprinkles and cherry on top and waffle cones...mmhhh...good thing we still sane for not licking the ice cream as they look mighty tasty ;) have a good day everybody!!

Our magical 2-week vacation has finally over...

but we are SO glad to be back and be productive & creative again!

Here is our first project completion after the vacation...these adorable bird toppers should finish in just 8 hrs. Right when we stepped back into the studio yesterday, we had to start our sewing marathon to finish these party favors for immediate shipment today. Can you imagine how chaotic it is to start day 1 with such a time-sensitive task!? Pressure's on but we're glad this first challenging work is done! Now, on to the next ones...

at Gifts Define, a terrific day could be easily made simply by a terrific project! so...gloomy day today has nothing to bring us down, as wework on this Sea Friends wall art Bannerama for Crews whose under-the-sea theme birthday is coming this coming week!! Given so little timeframe, we're doing pretty mighty good in completing it well done, we're happy!!

busy & productive start of the week! tho this week will be a shorter one for us (we'll be on our vacation on Thu yay!) we have much done today but not much we can captured in photographs. Though, we have to take a shot of these completed charming banners we made for the twin's birthday this upcoming week....so much fun in creating these adorable Fairytale Bird Banneramas for them both plus that super simple yet chic happy birthday garland we made especially for them! we missed our daily posting yesterday as we barely had a second to sit infront of the computer...even till this evening, our to-do board still loaded with so many exciting colorful projects such as these wall-art Bird Name Banneramas! but we no super-sewers, we do need our break from this whole color frenzy, so we'll enjoy our Friday as effective as we c...an and continue the work tomorrow noon. New Year means new beginning for some new exciting projects, so we've been working hard & creatively in expanding our Nursery Collection and one of the project parts we're thrilled about is to create coordinated 'Nursery Decor ArtBox' to our charming deco*mobiles...here is just a preview to some of our newest ArtBox design -- parents can easily jot down baby name/birthdate/message on the chalkboard part and make the storage as a trinket keepsake box. We're so excited...have a great day everybody!

been a busy long day today, but... productive! try to wrap up all the unfinished paperwork of 2010 (we being a procastinator)...ya know how it feels with mountainous of papers, bills, etc staring at you at your desk! we'd rather be being creative rather than being 'corporative' he he...anyway, try to steal some... moments at noon to work on our darling custom Aquarium mobile and some cute party toppers to finish this week. wanna hear a story? we have a whales tale to tell :) we're so much in love love love with our adorable baby whales & chic coral...we've been working on this new deco mobile design all day long and managed to take some good shots for the website...we picked clean muted colors white, silver and charcoal while featuring the aqua blue whale for a more masculine and lilac for feminine touch...they're such our whale wide world right now :P...ok enough with the word play...we'll take a break after all day hard work, now time to play :) have a good one everybody

New year = new deco mobile design!! and we're so excited with our newest collection "the Garden Grace" to complete our festive deco mobiles design featuring the sweet butterfly, playful froggie, cute snail, lovely bee and pretty ladybug centerpiece. We also create a new wood frame color in pistachio green to complement the green hues of springy Garden Grace. Though excited to have this design added to our virtual deco mobile gallery; for now, we still have to complete the stitches on those cute plushies, the needles and threads are still poking them, ouch! :)

we're playing master of tigers this morning, we have to complete the "make-up" of our darling tigers for the Safari Quest deco mobile we're working on, hand-stitching their eyes, the mustache so they can look as cool as they're the king of the safari.. :) ah we need to add their handsome stripes too...o we have... so much fun...have a great Monday everybody!!

Yay! Happy 2011....new year, new spirit, new creativity! Enough playing fireworks & watching Christmas lights...we're back in studio as early as Jan 1st!!! and of course, we have in store, new creations to flourish this year! the first one we're eager to complete is our new "Family Tree" creation of our Tree Story collection. We're so excited about this new project and can't wait to have this design established and professionaly photographed for the website. Well, Christmas might be over, but productivity has never back down at our little GD studio. Yea, we do need break time, but we don't mind postponing it for the time being in the name of creativity! *wink* thank goodness we're slowing down the holiday handmade items production while we full-speed back into the deco mobiles making for our clients. Of course, the Bird Parade design has been the most popular and we're so proud of it! While the sun is out today (after all the gloomy days here in Florida); we did manage to get some paintings done and arrange these lovely wooden frames ready to hang many pretty birds...wishing you all a beautiful day!!! ♥
